Prospective Students

-

Here are answers to some frequently asked questions from prospective students.

  • Are you looking for graduate students?

I am looking for talented students to work at the interface between computer science and economics.

  • How can I join your group as a graduate student?

If you have already been admitted to Harvard, please email me and we can set up a time to talk. If you have not yet been admitted to Harvard, please do not email me to apply. All Ph.D. students are admitted through the regular application procedure. Individual faculty do not make admission decisions. Emailing me personally will not increase your chances of getting into the Ph.D. program. Also, I am not able to provide any estimate of your chances of admission. If you are interested in working with me and mention it in your application to Harvard, I will know it. I wish you the best of luck in applying to graduate schools!

  • How does the graduate admissions process work?

Please find information on graduate admissions at here. The application deadline is December 15.

  • I’m an undergraduate at Harvard. Can I do research with you?

Yes. If you are interested in doing summer research or senior thesis, I’ll be happy to talk with you.

Unfortunately, I don’t have such positions available.
